Building AI Tools With Google Sheets

https://www.youtube.com/watch/_dPM5FA4i64

00:00:00.320 so how to build ey tools with Google
00:00:03.600 Sheets um I built the first prototype of
00:00:06.200 the ey tool that I will show you in 24
00:00:09.000 hours then I showed it to Monica and she
00:00:10.759 said it could be worth could be worth
00:00:13.360 thousands and which I I was surprised
00:00:15.960 but because I didn’t have any coding
00:00:17.359 skills and it took me only a day to put
00:00:19.279 it together and I only used these Rings
00:00:22.119 um Google Sheets Google doc Drive Gmail
00:00:25.599 and any other tool that you get with a
00:00:27.279 free um Gmail or Google account can uh
00:00:30.560 pretty much use I use chat gbt you can
00:00:32.399 also use CLA to provide me with the code
00:00:36.160 and I use AI API so you can use that
00:00:41.360 from openi or entropic to connect your
00:00:44.480 Google sheet to anyi model that you want
00:00:47.320 to use to perform any actions you wanted
00:00:50.039 to perform in your Google
00:00:52.800 Sheets and the cool part is you can get
00:00:55.800 those for free sure you have to pay for
00:00:58.559 your API cost but I will show you later
00:01:01.640 how cheap this actually is compared to
00:01:05.319 um what you can do with it and this was
00:01:08.439 a big issue for me because I had um I
00:01:11.479 wanted to build ey tools for pretty for
00:01:14.159 for several months but I never got
00:01:16.159 started because first I thought you
00:01:17.600 needed coding skills to create a really
00:01:19.520 useful and working tool and the other
00:01:21.479 was I thought the API or the using thei
00:01:25.240 would be very expensive um but that’s
00:01:27.320 not true and specifically um this is
00:01:30.560 what I will show you in this master
00:01:32.280 class what my ey tool does that
00:01:33.920 impressed Monica ideas for your eye
00:01:36.119 tools to build with Google Sheets for
00:01:38.360 yourself um or to sell my two-step
00:01:42.240 strategy to find AI tool ideas without
00:01:44.640 thinking too hard my copy and paced
00:01:46.759 process to build the first working
00:01:48.399 prototype in a day without writing a
00:01:50.640 single code yourself how to connect AI
00:01:53.880 models like GPT 40 claw two Google
00:01:57.719 Sheets or any other Google app um doc
00:02:00.840 Drive Gmail or any other software you
00:02:03.200 use and how to make your it tool syus
00:02:06.360 scalable and more valuable and at the
00:02:08.560 end it will share a few quick tips to
00:02:10.318 avoid errors and build your it tool
00:02:12.800 faster so this is what my it tool does
00:02:15.160 it’s called um mail
00:02:17.879 mimic
00:02:20.040 and I’ve already put it on a ling page
00:02:22.560 so today is the the launch of this tool
00:02:25.360 and um it allows you to generate emails
00:02:28.959 like your favorite X
00:02:30.519 Guru or Creator you can type in any
00:02:33.040 topic offer and mail mimic turns any
00:02:34.959 email from your Gmail account or Gmail
00:02:37.640 inbox into unique ready to send emails
00:02:39.599 that sound like
00:02:41.599 you and you can get this tool right now
00:02:44.400 for 50% off that’s only for members of
00:02:46.760 di business Builders and it’s valid for
00:02:49.560 the next three days now I will show you
00:02:51.519 how this works in a quick
00:02:54.319 demonstration so it is a Google sheet
00:02:58.519 that first doesn’t look really special
00:03:01.120 but it’s connected to and in the
00:03:04.799 background there’s some code that
00:03:06.799 performs some actions so the first thing
00:03:08.519 I can do here I can enter the number of
00:03:12.599 days and then the tool will look into my
00:03:15.200 Gmail inbox and list all the email
00:03:19.000 senders that have sent me emails in the
00:03:20.760 last seven days depending on how many
00:03:23.440 emails you’re getting this can take a
00:03:25.879 few seconds and then I
00:03:31.920 can select um which emails I want to
00:03:35.760 import because then I can like select
00:03:39.519 the experts whose emails I want to model
00:03:41.480 for my own emails and once they’re
00:03:45.080 imported they will open up in a new tab
00:03:48.760 here and then it will list all the
00:03:50.760 emails that this sender has sent me this
00:03:54.200 is like Iman gari sent up for his
00:03:56.799 newsletter recently and it will list the
00:03:58.439 emails with the subject line
00:04:00.720 when I got them and also direct link to
00:04:02.439 the email text and the word count um
00:04:04.959 these are the emails from Monica that I
00:04:06.840 received so far and it you can do this
00:04:11.079 for any of these um yeah email emails
00:04:15.159 and you can even expand this further and
00:04:17.918 um import more email addresses from
00:04:20.680 people that have sent emails in the last
00:04:22.160 20 days then the list will go larger but
00:04:25.759 now let’s uh start the first thing we
00:04:27.960 need to do is we need to add a topic or
00:04:30.800 an offer so I’ve already prepared
00:04:33.240 something here that could be a topic of
00:04:36.400 my business like the product I’m selling
00:04:38.600 the audience I’m serving how I help them
00:04:41.320 and what I help them achieve in this
00:04:43.039 case let just pick the example of a
00:04:46.080 person that helps people with online
00:04:47.600 dating and Tinder and uh helps them yeah
00:04:51.680 get matches and dates and I’ve also
00:04:54.320 listed The credibility um of this person
00:04:57.600 so that makes up my tougher my topic but
00:05:00.680 it could also if you want to generate
00:05:02.440 sales emails and then I can already open
00:05:06.000 these tabs and I can go through the list
00:05:08.720 of these
00:05:09.880 emails and then I can generate subject
00:05:14.880 lines that uh keep the structure of
00:05:18.039 these subject lines from these emails
00:05:20.280 but they adjust them for my
00:05:23.880 topic and I can do this
00:05:31.520 subject lines and then once I found a
00:05:35.520 few that makes sense I can go to the
00:05:38.160 next step which then would be to
00:05:41.560 generate the email
00:05:45.039 text
00:05:46.600 and to do that I can provide a writing
00:05:51.440 sample so which means this is a text I
00:05:54.039 have written myself in this case I
00:05:56.000 picked someone who is uh like an a code
00:05:59.759 a personal life coach who writes really
00:06:02.360 inspirational messages to
00:06:04.840 demonstrate um how it analyzes the
00:06:08.840 writing sample then adjusts the email
00:06:10.720 text according to the writing
00:06:13.080 sample I can select how detailed I want
00:06:15.960 the analysis to be um I pick detailed as
00:06:20.360 this will normally get me the best
00:06:22.960 results and look at few characteristics
00:06:25.440 of this writing sample so this can be an
00:06:27.479 email you wrote it can be an article you
00:06:29.319 wrote anything you typed up even if you
00:06:31.240 don’t think you have any um unique
00:06:33.759 writing voice um you may still be
00:06:36.000 surprised what this finds and it then
00:06:39.120 will analyze like the writing structure
00:06:42.639 and the tone personality word shows the
00:06:46.319 sentence lengths and so on and then I
00:06:49.400 can
00:06:51.240 generate the text for my
00:06:54.280 emails based on these writing analysis
00:06:59.120 so
00:07:00.120 yeah we’ll just try out a few now here
00:07:02.599 didn’t create those just check them
00:07:06.280 again and then it will generate the
00:07:09.280 writing style okay I forgot something
00:07:11.680 that’s good that it happens so here I
00:07:13.560 need to put
00:07:14.720 in the name that I want to use to sign
00:07:17.479 off my
00:07:18.720 emails then I just click it
00:07:22.800 again and then it will pick the topic
00:07:25.560 and also the subject line and my writing
00:07:28.840 style analysis is
00:07:34.319 and generate the email based adjusted to
00:07:38.199 my writing style and to my
00:07:40.160 topic and then it will save this in a
00:07:43.440 Google Document takes a few seconds like
00:07:46.039 10 seconds 20 seconds depending how many
00:07:48.400 words in these emails are so then they
00:07:51.080 are
00:07:52.560 already ready here and I can open
00:07:55.319 it and then I get the yeah email version
00:07:59.520 adjusted to my writing style and then
00:08:02.680 also another
00:08:06.680 version which is without the writing
00:08:09.000 style adjustment so we have two two
00:08:10.639 options to choose from and I did this
00:08:13.159 last week I sent an email to my list and
00:08:15.560 my to a German business sell digital
00:08:18.199 products and I only had to adjust a few
00:08:20.840 words and then the email was ready to go
00:08:22.960 so I could copy and paste this text into
00:08:26.039 my email marketing tool another cool
00:08:28.960 feature you have is here I can create
00:08:31.000 the summary of the original email like
00:08:33.360 these emails that I’ve imported here so
00:08:36.000 I no longer have to read all these
00:08:37.320 emails but I can get a quick summary and
00:08:39.559 then decide if I want to read the whole
00:08:41.440 text of the email or not and yeah that’s
00:08:46.240 uh what this tool does okay now I
00:08:48.279 removed it I don’t know
00:08:51.800 sorry yeah it shouldn’t have
00:08:54.839 happened
00:08:57.320 um moment
00:09:00.000 just remove my
00:09:02.700 [Music]
00:09:08.320 desktop oh
00:09:11.320 sorry um where do I find my other
00:09:16.240 desktop
00:09:21.880 yeah yeah it is okay we’re back
00:09:27.399 and whenever you get new Emil from the
00:09:29.880 sender the new emails will be added on
00:09:31.959 top so this tool automatically looks
00:09:33.839 into your inbox each day and gets the
00:09:37.160 new emails that you have received from
00:09:38.959 these people and automatically Updates
00:09:42.120 this list so you only have to
00:09:45.440 import the email addresses once or you
00:09:47.640 can add new ones if you want to generate
00:09:50.399 new emails based on other people’s
00:09:52.600 emails or Emil structures this is what
00:09:55.480 my tool does now I want to show you in
00:09:58.120 the rest of the presentation how you can
00:09:59.680 build such tools yourself without
00:10:01.440 needing to write any code and the first
00:10:03.240 thing you need if you don’t already have
00:10:05.000 one is an idea for what tool to actually
00:10:07.120 build now the two-step strategy I used
00:10:10.000 to build this tool and other tools was I
00:10:12.680 just record problems I have and then I
00:10:14.800 asked jbt if and how I can solve these
00:10:16.880 problems with Google Sheets and
00:10:19.480 appscript and app scripts we will U
00:10:21.920 discuss in a minute what that
00:10:23.720 is and first I want to show you one
00:10:26.399 example of how I think about I ideas so
00:10:30.480 I have a problem I want I need to
00:10:32.120 manually check the results of my emails
00:10:34.120 to figure out what to improve and I will
00:10:37.760 show you a spreadsheet where I capture
00:10:39.600 all the data of my email campaigns and
00:10:41.920 then I need to figure out um okay what
00:10:44.480 is the click rate and so on and instead
00:10:47.600 the idea would be to create a tool that
00:10:49.399 automatically Imports the results from
00:10:51.040 my email marketing tool saves them in a
00:10:53.079 Google sheet and then I have an AI that
00:10:55.920 um suggests what my next subject lines
00:10:57.959 or email text should be based on the
00:11:00.959 emails that have performed the best so
00:11:03.079 this is the tool I could build
00:11:06.600 and this the first step I do like I ask
00:11:09.200 chpd if it’s possible and I outline this
00:11:15.800 tool here it’s like a prompt and then I
00:11:19.040 put this
00:11:20.600 prompt into chat
00:11:26.000 GPT so open chat GPT here
00:11:30.839 and I put this in
00:11:33.399 here and then it tells me yes it can do
00:11:36.839 that so it’s I didn’t really think this
00:11:39.720 is possible when I thought about it so I
00:11:41.440 just asked chbd and then it even provide
00:11:43.200 me with a code that I could then use to
00:11:46.440 copy and paste into my tool and I will
00:11:48.040 show you um where to copy and paste this
00:11:51.360 code and to build your tool and this
00:11:58.040 is the
00:12:00.040 the the sheet that looks how I got um I
00:12:02.399 managed to import all the emails I’ve
00:12:04.519 sent from my yeah from my email
00:12:06.600 marketing tool the open rate click rate
00:12:08.720 and send rate and now I can clean this
00:12:11.000 up and add an artificial intelligence to
00:12:13.880 analyze them and then suggest new email
00:12:16.480 subject lines and topics based on those
00:12:18.279 that have performed the best for my next
00:12:23.720 emails so that’s one um yeah really
00:12:26.920 practical and extremely useful a tool um
00:12:30.320 you can build another one would be okay
00:12:32.959 I don’t know what to post on LinkedIn
00:12:34.480 and taking it takes me too long to write
00:12:37.480 post maybe I could import the 10 best
00:12:40.760 performing posts of a LinkedIn profile
00:12:42.639 and let a i rewrite them for my toping
00:12:44.560 and writing style like similar to what I
00:12:46.160 did with my mail mimic tool what if I
00:12:48.880 did is for LinkedIn where import all the
00:12:51.240 link LinkedIn profile and the top
00:12:53.600 performing um post and I asked hbd if it
00:12:56.880 could do this with my Google sheet and
00:12:58.279 it said yes uh I could do that and it
00:13:00.639 provided me with the code another thing
00:13:02.800 would be I’m manual recording like
00:13:05.199 keeping track of results I’m running
00:13:06.800 Facebook ads and I list those results in
00:13:10.920 a Google sheet and I always have to um
00:13:13.360 copy and
00:13:14.560 paste then manually into a Google sheet
00:13:18.360 okay can’t see this right now but it
00:13:20.639 looks similar to this where I have my ad
00:13:22.360 campaigns The Click rate and cost per
00:13:25.600 lead and I always have to copy and paste
00:13:28.040 this for my ad managing account and now
00:13:30.320 what if I could automatically import
00:13:33.399 these results from my campaigns in a
00:13:35.440 shoot in a gigle sheet and um have an AI
00:13:39.360 like give me suggestions okay what
00:13:40.959 should I optimize for my targeting for
00:13:43.240 my ad copy what should I test next based
00:13:45.560 on the performance and then it could
00:13:47.760 also perhaps send me an email each week
00:13:49.959 with a list of things uh to improve in
00:13:52.639 my next campaign so I don’t have to get
00:13:56.079 this data manually or think about what
00:13:57.839 to improve
00:13:59.639 example number four um yeah for a
00:14:02.199 business for example it could be useful
00:14:04.040 to manually track expenses and revenue
00:14:06.959 um I mean the problem is I have to
00:14:08.720 manually keep track of expenses and
00:14:10.560 revenue and have my profit and loss
00:14:12.639 sheet U updated manually what if I could
00:14:17.160 like connect my accounting software my
00:14:20.199 payment processor to an Google sheet and
00:14:23.160 then it automatically Imports my
00:14:25.320 expenses and also the sales I made and
00:14:27.880 then it tells me how to reduce cost how
00:14:29.720 to increase my profits what are the best
00:14:31.639 selling offers and where I should what
00:14:34.519 is the best customers and how how can I
00:14:37.199 make my money could be a profits optimiz
00:14:40.199 AI tool example number five that’s my
00:14:43.800 problem is I struggle to send regular
00:14:45.160 emails I have no ideas and writing takes
00:14:47.000 too long what if I could import all the
00:14:49.160 email ideas that already are in my
00:14:51.199 overcrowded inbox with like 20 or 30
00:14:54.199 different newsletters I’ve sign up in
00:14:56.720 and I import those into group sheet and
00:14:59.199 let I rewrite them for my topic and
00:15:00.839 writing style that’s the tool I built
00:15:03.560 mainly to solve my own problem now once
00:15:05.560 you got the idea for your ey tool um the
00:15:08.480 next is to prepare Google sheet so
00:15:11.360 basically you you create a new Google
00:15:13.079 sheet you can go to Sheets new and then
00:15:16.320 you map out in
00:15:19.040 a Google sheet okay how should it look
00:15:25.279 like how should this basically user
00:15:27.680 interface look like code so I for
00:15:29.279 example just set up columns like these
00:15:31.360 and check boxes and without them having
00:15:34.240 any functions at the moment it’s just
00:15:36.519 like a mock up and then in the next step
00:15:39.959 I bring this Google sheet to live by
00:15:42.120 adding some functions to that and that’s
00:15:46.480 what I will show you now my copy and
00:15:48.000 paste process to build the ey tools fast
00:15:49.959 without writing single line of code so
00:15:52.040 once you have the idea and your sheet
00:15:54.680 prepared then we
00:15:57.040 can add the functions to it this is thei
00:16:00.440 tool building stack that you have with
00:16:02.000 the process that I use to build my AI
00:16:05.000 tools you have on oneide the Google apps
00:16:07.920 which is like Google Sheets Google Docs
00:16:09.480 Google Drive Gmail Google forms calendar
00:16:11.600 and all other apps that are included in
00:16:13.240 a free Google subscriptions then AI
00:16:16.519 models you can connect with your tool
00:16:18.639 open from open ey and Tropic CLA Google
00:16:20.920 gmany and all other tools and all other
00:16:23.120 versions that develop in the future and
00:16:25.360 any software um you’ve seen I’ve
00:16:27.880 connected to my email Market Mar tool I
00:16:29.480 will share you later how I did this
00:16:32.079 specifically social media platforms
00:16:34.079 YouTube accounting software any types of
00:16:36.399 software that has an API that you can
00:16:40.279 include in your it tool or connect your
00:16:41.959 it tool with and the magic that does
00:16:45.319 this or the magic tool that does is app
00:16:46.880 scripts that’s what I think right now is
00:16:49.839 like the most powerful thing you get
00:16:52.240 with a free Google account because you
00:16:54.480 can connect all these things and Google
00:16:57.720 app scripts is like
00:16:59.759 um some sort of program you can write or
00:17:02.920 that allows you to make any Google
00:17:05.520 applications sheet STS Gmail Drive do
00:17:07.959 whatever you want with it even if it’s
00:17:10.319 not included in the standard options
00:17:13.400 that these tools come with you can
00:17:15.720 customize them anywhere you want you can
00:17:17.760 connect them with each other and any
00:17:20.079 software and any
00:17:21.799 Ai and it’s like really as simple as
00:17:24.679 copy and paste and the way I create this
00:17:28.160 Google apps for myself and I will show
00:17:30.320 you where you find it and how you
00:17:32.120 generate the code and how simple it is
00:17:34.320 is Al let CH GPT or you could also use
00:17:36.640 CLA they’re both equally good at this
00:17:39.120 generate everything I need all the code
00:17:42.240 and I just copy and paste what they give
00:17:43.919 me so that’s the process I follow I tell
00:17:46.679 chpt what exactly what I want my tool to
00:17:49.400 do and then I copy and paste the code it
00:17:53.160 gives me into the appscript that data
00:17:55.200 where I’ll show you in a minute where
00:17:56.480 you can find it then I run this code and
00:17:58.960 I see what happens right if it’s if it’s
00:18:02.120 if it there’s no error good I can move
00:18:04.640 on sometimes um I can sometimes I get
00:18:08.440 error or issues but then I just copy the
00:18:11.480 error output into back into CH gbt and
00:18:14.120 let it fix it and then after few back
00:18:16.799 and forth it usually solves the issue
00:18:18.520 and then the code works now let’s do a
00:18:21.240 live example of such an app script so
00:18:23.559 you get an idea how it works and how
00:18:26.240 much time it can save and how easy it is
00:18:27.799 to create let’s say I want to turn these
00:18:30.480 slides into a
00:18:32.039 PDF and send it
00:18:34.480 to multiple people via email so the idea
00:18:38.080 is I enter a few email addresses and
00:18:40.120 then these slides are attached to an
00:18:41.880 email and as a PDF and sent to them and
00:18:45.000 I call this function s slides so let’s
00:18:47.840 open chat
00:18:50.400 gbt then I’ve already prepared a
00:18:54.360 prompt that I will put into chat GPT
00:18:59.919 which here I say I need a Google app
00:19:02.960 script that does this then I outlined
00:19:04.679 all the functions in more detail what I
00:19:06.320 wanted to do and then I just need to
00:19:09.799 copy that paste it into J
00:19:13.799 gbt and then it will provide me with
00:19:17.080 some code and it will tell me exactly
00:19:20.200 what to do I don’t need to understand
00:19:22.480 how it works because it also will like
00:19:24.919 add some comments to every block of code
00:19:27.600 to make sure I understand generally how
00:19:30.000 everything works but I don’t need to
00:19:31.679 understand it in detail so here it says
00:19:34.320 um open Google slides and go to
00:19:35.799 extensions and appscript so here
00:19:38.720 extensions appscript this is basically
00:19:40.919 what I just told you this is the app
00:19:43.039 script editor where you define what you
00:19:45.760 want your um Google application to do
00:19:50.760 then um copy
00:19:53.880 this paste it in
00:19:56.880 here then it also says is create a new
00:20:00.720 HTML file
00:20:03.480 okay I haven’t I don’t really use HTML
00:20:06.600 file in my other in my tool I showed you
00:20:10.240 mail mimic but here it we need this
00:20:13.679 because we need a pop up where we can
00:20:15.480 enter the email addresses and then we
00:20:18.799 need to copy this
00:20:20.919 code paste it in
00:20:25.840 here yeah then I click save and then I
00:20:30.679 go back I reload this and if everything
00:20:34.080 has worked then you should now here see
00:20:37.520 uh here an option should normally appear
00:20:39.720 here we see it’s custom menu and it’s
00:20:41.640 called send slides now I run this now I
00:20:44.320 need to authorize it because I need to
00:20:46.159 give it make I need to allow the script
00:20:48.760 to make changes to my Google account and
00:20:52.200 use my slides so this is what you have
00:20:55.000 to do when the first time and you run a
00:20:56.559 script and when this has done
00:20:59.280 you click it
00:21:00.520 again and then here you see um I can
00:21:03.440 enter my email
00:21:09.840 address click
00:21:12.559 Send I can go to my Gmail inbox and see
00:21:16.960 if the slides have already
00:21:21.039 arrived and it has
00:21:24.360 worked I hope they typed it incorrect
00:21:27.200 yes um here see it sent the email and it
00:21:30.400 attached the the slides as a PDF so that
00:21:35.279 worked so that’s a working app script
00:21:38.600 we’ve just developed and which can save
00:21:41.080 me time in the future if I want to send
00:21:42.840 this presentation to several email
00:21:45.320 addresses I can just plug them in here
00:21:48.919 and that’s the power of
00:21:50.559 an Google appscript now the only thing
00:21:53.840 you really need to understand about app
00:21:54.960 scripts if you’re not coder or software
00:21:57.440 have don’t have any knowledge about
00:21:59.880 techn about programming software I I
00:22:03.039 don’t have that I still couldn’t write
00:22:05.960 uh the code I just showed you is all you
00:22:08.600 need to know
00:22:09.760 is that an appscript consists of
00:22:13.200 functions that as the name says it they
00:22:16.840 do
00:22:18.360 things and triggers is when these
00:22:22.960 functions should run there are triggers
00:22:26.159 like on when when you when you open a
00:22:29.240 document for example on open means if I
00:22:31.760 open the
00:22:33.520 slides here you you saw I reloaded it
00:22:36.559 then it added this custom menu or when I
00:22:40.440 um when I added something in
00:22:43.919 my in my Google sheet for example when I
00:22:46.440 check a box here and it recognize
00:22:48.440 everything I change in every
00:22:51.000 cell and then it will perform a specific
00:22:54.720 um action which in this case like it
00:22:57.720 added the email address is here and it
00:22:59.520 pulled all the email here and so on so
00:23:02.080 that’s what a trigger is and I can also
00:23:05.120 set up time based triggers so this could
00:23:07.520 run once a day at a specific time and I
00:23:11.120 can also as you see as you’ve
00:23:14.919 seen can trigger functions from our menu
00:23:18.799 which we have done I clicked here and
00:23:20.840 then it it runs the function and then it
00:23:23.760 opens that so this is really all you
00:23:25.919 need to know and you have the execution
00:23:27.600 log this is what you see if I would run
00:23:31.400 a function manually for example this
00:23:33.640 normally makes makes yeah then it here
00:23:36.200 you see the execution L you see what the
00:23:38.360 you see what it does and if it gets an
00:23:40.760 error and or if it’s complete then you
00:23:43.000 can um you know if if it worked or it
00:23:45.919 didn’t and then you can feed the
00:23:47.080 information back into jet
00:23:49.360 GPT and we will do a few more of these
00:23:51.640 examples so you understand how it works
00:23:54.679 how do you integrate other Google
00:23:57.039 applications to your tool so that’s how
00:23:59.279 I start normally I have my my core
00:24:02.080 function is like a Google sheet and now
00:24:03.760 I want to add for example Google
00:24:05.400 documents I want to access my Gmail
00:24:07.840 account pull the emails or other
00:24:09.919 information from there or any other tool
00:24:12.840 you can really use and directly use in
00:24:15.240 your tool without needing to set up an
00:24:18.159 API access so I’ve listed them all here
00:24:21.320 these are all the tools you can use in
00:24:23.559 your AI tool to perform different things
00:24:27.559 and I’m not going through them you get a
00:24:30.039 if you get a PDF of this presentation at
00:24:32.840 the end and you have it all
00:24:36.799 in uh yeah now let’s say I want to
00:24:41.480 connect Google slides to Google sheet I
00:24:43.919 want to add like Google Sheets to Google
00:24:46.279 Slides or connect them it starts with
00:24:48.000 the same process I just need to tell
00:24:51.200 chat gbt what I want to do and then it
00:24:53.279 will give me the code so here I can say
00:24:55.840 I need a Google appscript that I can
00:24:57.360 trigger
00:24:58.960 and what it should do it should import
00:25:01.440 all the Cod all the text from my slides
00:25:04.640 into a Google sheet and list the number
00:25:07.320 of each slide and the text of each slide
00:25:10.159 and I will do the same I will
00:25:14.240 just copy and paste this in here so the
00:25:17.080 key really to outline specifically what
00:25:18.799 you want to do and then it will provide
00:25:20.760 the code for me and then I can just grab
00:25:25.279 the code and copy and paste it back into
00:25:27.960 my code editor and then it will perform
00:25:30.799 the action now this not really an
00:25:33.000 interesting um action so I will not
00:25:36.399 demonstrate this how it works because I
00:25:38.760 just I just just copy it paste it in
00:25:41.640 your code editor and then you can run it
00:25:46.159 and because the really interesting thing
00:25:49.000 happens then when you can connect AI to
00:25:53.000 your tool
00:25:58.799 and before we go that I want to just
00:26:00.799 share with you a few things you can do
00:26:03.640 when you connect different um yeah
00:26:06.480 Google apps with each other or with app
00:26:09.039 script so you can spark some idea of
00:26:11.320 what’s possible with that alone so here
00:26:13.559 I had listed separate documents in one
00:26:16.000 Google sheet and I wanted to combine all
00:26:18.480 of these documents into one without
00:26:20.679 having to copy and paste it so I created
00:26:22.559 a Google app script that got all of
00:26:24.760 these document links and saved all that
00:26:27.720 text into one document or an interesting
00:26:30.679 use case was I was I had signed up for a
00:26:34.159 newsletter that was giving me a viral
00:26:36.720 YouTube titles so I have ideas for my
00:26:38.799 YouTube channel and I extracted all
00:26:41.320 these titles that were in these emails
00:26:44.000 and I put them I I I have a Google app
00:26:47.679 script that did this that extracted all
00:26:49.279 the titles from this emails saved them
00:26:51.760 in a Google Document and then I uploaded
00:26:53.480 this as a knowledge file for my custom
00:26:56.080 GPT um the title generator so this is
00:26:59.440 something you could also use if you want
00:27:01.640 if you need knowledge files to scrape
00:27:04.520 information from emails for example you
00:27:07.080 can use Google app scripts to search for
00:27:09.399 specific emails um get this data compile
00:27:12.559 it into a document so it can uploaded in
00:27:15.039 your custom
00:27:16.240 GPT so how do you connect nii to Google
00:27:19.720 Sheets that’s really where the magic
00:27:23.240 happens
00:27:25.039 and we will go through an example from I
00:27:29.039 have a Google sheet that I’ve used to
00:27:33.600 identify things that I’m excited or
00:27:36.279 enjoy doing so I can make my YouTube
00:27:39.159 channel about that because I struggled
00:27:41.480 for many months to come up with an idea
00:27:43.480 what should my YouTube channel be about
00:27:45.159 what should be my new brand be about I
00:27:47.240 didn’t know that it should be about
00:27:49.240 AI um so I created an a Google sheet or
00:27:53.600 more a form where I would enter each day
00:27:58.360 okay what did I do and um how did I feel
00:28:01.080 about what I did and then I had an AI
00:28:05.720 that would analyze it so I could run
00:28:09.120 this function which is connected to an
00:28:11.880 AI and then it would analyze the
00:28:14.919 activities I did and then it would tell
00:28:16.519 me what I enjoy what I’m good at and so
00:28:20.799 I had a clear idea um for what direction
00:28:24.480 my YouTube channel could be or anything
00:28:26.880 really and I also connected it to CLA to
00:28:31.679 see have a comparison okay what’s the
00:28:33.640 difference between those two
00:28:35.559 models and I but they do the same so it
00:28:38.360 also
00:28:40.120 analyzes my experiences or activities
00:28:42.919 and tells me what I enoy
00:28:45.120 and so I have a clear
00:28:47.679 idea what uh to focus on as is my brand
00:28:56.880 or my my YouTube channel and now before
00:29:03.360 we add the API or we will because we
00:29:05.760 will add a new function to this which I
00:29:07.200 already prepared here I want to show you
00:29:09.320 how you can add for example an AI
00:29:11.360 function that would analyze my
00:29:13.960 activities and suggest specific YouTube
00:29:15.720 videos I could create based on things I
00:29:18.399 have done and before we do that before
00:29:21.240 we connect nii it’s I think it’s
00:29:24.240 important to know okay how much does it
00:29:27.640 cost to use nii because that was a big
00:29:30.960 issue for me at the beginning so I go
00:29:33.039 through a few examples so you know how
00:29:35.120 much it costs and this numbers will
00:29:37.480 probably not tell you if you don’t have
00:29:39.279 any knowledge about API or um AI uh
00:29:44.919 usage costs so here they say it costs
00:29:48.039 you $5 for one million tokens and a
00:29:52.720 token let’s go this is 100 tokens L is
00:29:57.200 around 75 words so here uh it basically
00:30:00.919 means you can
00:30:03.399 like 750,000
00:30:06.480 words uh you can if if you use 750,000
00:30:10.320 words as your input like as your prompt
00:30:12.799 then it will cost you five dollars if
00:30:15.159 you want to if you want to generate um a
00:30:18.600 1 million tokens as an output like a
00:30:20.480 text of
00:30:21.880 750,000 that will cost you $15 and this
00:30:24.679 is how these usage costs are calculated
00:30:26.880 so this is the input so the the data you
00:30:29.679 feed your AI model and this is the
00:30:31.360 output how much information it should it
00:30:34.159 generates and yeah there are a few
00:30:36.320 limits they call it context window this
00:30:38.840 is like how much information can you
00:30:41.159 feed into a I so you can’t really use a
00:30:44.200 million tokens at least not in in one
00:30:46.200 batch into your for your AI but you it’s
00:30:49.360 limited
00:30:50.320 to 80 128,000 which is around 100,000
00:30:55.120 words so that’s just to keep in mind but
00:30:58.200 I think it’s better if
00:31:00.440 we um calculate a specific example how
00:31:03.880 much does it now actually cost let’s say
00:31:06.080 you have a prompt that is 3,000 words
00:31:08.080 long or you have a context that you put
00:31:10.279 into your ey um that is 3,000 words long
00:31:13.760 and the output is also 3,000 words long
00:31:16.279 so that would be around 10 book pages or
00:31:19.200 six pages of PDF full of text the input
00:31:22.519 prompt would cost you two cents the
00:31:24.519 output so generating those 3,000 words
00:31:28.120 would cost you six cents so the total
00:31:32.639 cost would be about 8 cents for like 10
00:31:35.440 pages of a book or six pages of PDF so
00:31:38.639 that’s actually pretty cheap
00:31:41.399 and when we look at my emails you can
00:31:46.120 see I’ve also listed out the cost so
00:31:49.399 here it costs
00:31:50.600 me um you look here like two cents to
00:31:53.960 generate an email and here it costs yeah
00:31:56.799 also almost two cents
00:31:59.320 and so that’s pretty cheap so for5 you
00:32:03.639 can generate around 100 emails in given
00:32:07.600 that I I personally write I send around
00:32:10.600 100 emails to my German speaking contact
00:32:14.880 list um I can pretty much use only five
00:32:19.960 and or5 do and it generates me 100
00:32:22.080 emails that I can use so it’s pretty
00:32:23.960 cheap given the amount of time it saves
00:32:25.880 me and the functions I get with using I
00:32:28.919 now with claw that’s a different I model
00:32:30.880 it’s a little bit cheaper around 1 cent
00:32:33.200 because the input prompts is a little
00:32:35.240 bit cheaper but basically unless you
00:32:38.000 have a really high volume um of of
00:32:42.480 generating um yeah results and content
00:32:45.720 or
00:32:46.919 analysis that’s pretty cheap so it’s
00:32:49.200 it’s a matter of sents that you spend
00:32:51.519 now let’s go through a live example
00:32:53.720 let’s create an AI that will suggest
00:32:56.679 topic for YouTube video based on
00:32:58.600 activities I’ve entered now to show you
00:33:00.840 how you can connect in a i function to a
00:33:03.840 Google sheet for
00:33:05.679 example it start with the prompt and GPT
00:33:09.519 GPT where I just copy and paste my
00:33:11.519 prompt
00:33:12.600 in and then it will give me a code now
00:33:16.720 here I have another field which is
00:33:18.399 called insert API connection example and
00:33:22.159 you
00:33:23.600 will find a resource to this at the end
00:33:26.919 of the video I share with you how you
00:33:28.399 can get this where I have have put in
00:33:30.519 all the links of this master class and
00:33:32.720 from the slides and there you can go for
00:33:35.240 example to API connection there I’ve
00:33:38.480 already prepared some code for you that
00:33:40.559 you don’t need to um yeah figure it out
00:33:44.159 because sometimes these models get
00:33:46.880 updated and then chat
00:33:49.159 GPT sometimes no longer knows okay what
00:33:51.559 is the most up to dat the code I need to
00:33:55.000 connect this AI perfectly and so that’s
00:33:57.559 why put this in here so to to really
00:34:00.159 make sure we get a working code out of
00:34:03.399 there I just paste it in here and then
00:34:06.559 it will give me the
00:34:10.560 code we take a little now I can go right
00:34:13.520 to my sheet here so this is basically
00:34:16.440 what I want to do now I go to extensions
00:34:19.679 I go to app
00:34:21.000 scripts I already have some code from my
00:34:23.599 previous
00:34:24.960 functions so I will just SC roll through
00:34:28.159 to to the bottom here and then I will
00:34:30.199 grab this
00:34:31.760 code that chat GPD has given me I will
00:34:35.040 copy
00:34:38.440 it paste it in
00:34:40.719 here the only thing I need to replace in
00:34:43.359 this case is my API key I just grab the
00:34:45.960 one I already have here
00:34:50.440 from
00:34:52.280 my open
00:34:55.520 AI then I put it in
00:35:00.480 here then I click
00:35:04.359 save and now I can already like run the
00:35:08.359 function from here that’s what I would
00:35:10.079 do this is what the function is I click
00:35:12.160 on
00:35:14.240 run and then you see execution started
00:35:17.280 and then you see what it does so we can
00:35:19.440 follow through if it works correctly and
00:35:22.079 I can see the results already in my
00:35:23.760 sheet here and it will now suggest those
00:35:27.160 YouTube video topics now here in this
00:35:30.280 case it’s cut it off because I’ve set a
00:35:32.320 limit to how many tokens it can use so
00:35:36.079 it’s here it’s set to
00:35:38.440 150 but I can increase this so the
00:35:41.079 higher this is the larger the more
00:35:44.359 tokens it has to generate the output so
00:35:46.200 if it’s to 500 and it can generate
00:35:48.720 nearly 400 words um for my YouTube
00:35:53.040 topics and then I can stop
00:35:56.640 it if I delete it
00:36:02.240 now then I run it
00:36:07.839 again now the input should be a little
00:36:11.319 bit longer or complete at least so this
00:36:13.720 is how how how it normally works so this
00:36:15.599 is what the process is so I create this
00:36:18.480 function um I tell jpd what I want copy
00:36:21.760 and paste the functions in my editor
00:36:24.599 then I click on run and then I see what
00:36:27.040 happens
00:36:28.079 and if I like the output I move on if I
00:36:30.160 don’t for example if I see okay this was
00:36:32.640 cut off then I go back and change it or
00:36:35.000 I ask jbt if I didn’t know that the
00:36:37.839 token was the limit I just would ask jbt
00:36:40.040 hey why is my why are my YouTube top
00:36:42.640 topics cut off um but here this function
00:36:46.520 basically works so it looks at my
00:36:50.440 activities um that are here and then it
00:36:54.160 suggests YouTube topics of course I can
00:36:57.119 modify a prompt of
00:37:01.960 my AI connection so this is basically
00:37:06.319 what it is so this is the block you have
00:37:09.400 that this is this is what
00:37:11.440 the what the what the I connection is so
00:37:15.520 the it analyzes activities for YouTube
00:37:18.079 topics so this is always most of most of
00:37:21.160 the functions are named according to
00:37:23.119 what they do this is like the connection
00:37:25.960 where you get the API key so if you
00:37:28.640 don’t already have an API key you can
00:37:32.119 get this from a open
00:37:35.920 AI um yeah have to log
00:37:38.480 in you log in or set up an account and
00:37:42.440 once you’ve done that you can get your
00:37:44.640 API API key or you can do the same with
00:37:47.119 CLA I’ve also put the link in the
00:37:50.319 resource
00:37:52.079 section and I’m not sure if I can look
00:37:55.079 in
00:37:56.280 here I can show this where you get your
00:37:58.720 API key if you don’t know where this
00:38:00.920 is um yeah I will enter my
00:38:06.599 code open a
00:38:10.560 I
00:38:18.520 here then I’m here in my open a account
00:38:22.760 and then here I have my IPI key if I
00:38:24.839 want to create a new key I will create a
00:38:26.760 new key
00:38:30.680 and this is what I copy and
00:38:34.000 paste into my
00:38:37.440 code and before you can use the model
00:38:41.800 you have to add some credits in this
00:38:44.400 case you click on settings on billing um
00:38:48.480 I think it was here add to credit
00:38:50.680 balance so you need to at least use five
00:38:53.359 upload at least five so you can use the
00:38:55.960 API but as I said with $5 you can
00:39:00.560 generate um yeah for my tool for example
00:39:03.720 over 100 emails so still pretty cheap
00:39:07.280 compared to what you can do with it and
00:39:09.200 you can do the same with CLA so if you
00:39:11.680 want to use CLA connect that you just
00:39:14.720 follow the same process and then you
00:39:16.760 just use this code you tell jgpt I want
00:39:20.079 to use CLA and then it will do the same
00:39:28.480 for the function that you
00:39:31.440 created so that’s how you make anyi
00:39:35.400 connect any AI to your tools and make it
00:39:37.400 do anything so you don’t have to really
00:39:39.680 need to know what the AI does what the
00:39:42.560 how the code needs to look like um you
00:39:44.599 just need to tell CH GPT what you want
00:39:46.319 it to do and then you test the function
00:39:48.359 you run it and then you once it works
00:39:51.640 you move on to the next step now which
00:39:54.319 could be you could connect any software
00:39:57.200 um with an with an API to your tool so I
00:40:01.520 wanted to share this with you because
00:40:03.480 that could like take this tool to the
00:40:05.480 next level I only used in my tool I only
00:40:08.640 have the Google apps like I have a
00:40:10.359 Google sheet Gmail access and Google
00:40:13.359 Drive and Google Docs and in AI but you
00:40:18.720 can take this further and connect any
00:40:20.720 software you
00:40:22.000 want any software you use email
00:40:24.440 marketing tool accounting software
00:40:26.560 Payment Processing
00:40:27.880 software any type of software that has
00:40:30.200 an
00:40:31.240 API um and you can just do the same
00:40:34.280 process you copy and paste the code you
00:40:36.480 tell jpd what you want the software to
00:40:39.520 do in your tool and then you copy and
00:40:42.599 paste the code it gives you and you have
00:40:44.800 to create an API key of the software I
00:40:47.200 show you one example with my email
00:40:49.359 marketing tool where where I usually
00:40:51.640 find these API keys and then you run the
00:40:55.800 function and then you see what happens
00:40:58.000 if it produces the outcome you want if
00:40:59.839 it doesn’t you feedback the errors into
00:41:01.760 chat
00:41:02.560 gbt and
00:41:06.720 then you try to solve it what chbd will
00:41:10.319 solve this for you so this is what I did
00:41:15.280 in with
00:41:19.119 this here right it
00:41:22.880 was where
00:41:25.160 I connected
00:41:29.040 my email marketing
00:41:32.280 tool
00:41:35.119 to my Google sheet and I just told chat
00:41:39.440 gbt this I can open my new window
00:41:44.200 here and I asked it is it even
00:41:47.040 possible so I use active campaign can
00:41:49.680 you create a Google appscript to access
00:41:51.520 the subject line Ascent date open rate
00:41:54.640 and
00:41:57.760 store them in a Google sheet I didn’t
00:41:59.599 know this was possible uh because I have
00:42:02.119 no coding experience so and now it said
00:42:05.160 yes that’s possible and here’s a
00:42:08.040 step-by-step guide to create a weap
00:42:10.040 script and then it will do this will
00:42:11.400 pray me with the script and then again
00:42:14.680 what I did I just copied
00:42:17.680 this I pasted it into my Google
00:42:24.119 sheet appscript editor
00:42:29.400 and then a rendom function then it got
00:42:31.800 me the the information I wanted subject
00:42:35.160 lines open rate click rate and then it’s
00:42:37.559 basically connected to my Google sheet
00:42:40.800 the software and that’s only one thing I
00:42:44.240 can do I can like get the I can also let
00:42:47.599 it extract the text of the send emails
00:42:51.359 or um
00:42:53.760 even um yeah more data you can just look
00:42:56.960 at the
00:43:00.880 nor normally every software tool they
00:43:03.240 have an what’s called an i
00:43:05.000 documentation um you don’t need to
00:43:06.920 understand the code but just see what
00:43:09.160 you can do with it so here I see I can
00:43:11.359 if I click on campaigns it tells me I
00:43:13.640 can list campaigns ret campaigns I can
00:43:18.559 um I can even you get the message or get
00:43:20.920 the text of the campaigns and so
00:43:23.040 on and the IPI key from any tool
00:43:26.839 normally they
00:43:28.559 have them listed or you can access them
00:43:31.079 in your account okay now I can show you
00:43:33.760 that in this but I can let me open
00:43:40.720 my Google Chrome where I’m already
00:43:44.880 logged in to my email marketing
00:43:48.160 tool and there I find this under
00:43:54.000 settings under Developers
00:43:57.640 and there I find my API URL and API key
00:44:00.480 and that’s all I need and then copy and
00:44:03.280 paste this
00:44:05.680 into the code it gives me so it already
00:44:08.800 has
00:44:09.760 placeholders where it says API key your
00:44:13.280 API key your url I replace this and then
00:44:16.760 I copy and paste this into my appscript
00:44:20.079 and then run a function and see what
00:44:21.880 happens and then I have connected my
00:44:24.000 email marketing software to my goet um
00:44:27.720 so that’s how easy it is and if you run
00:44:30.960 into errors because sometimes
00:44:33.520 these these um
00:44:36.720 API code or the code Snippets that tgpt
00:44:40.640 gives
00:44:41.760 you could be there is some issues
00:44:44.280 because these are sometimes updated and
00:44:47.520 written in a different way than what
00:44:49.400 chbt thinks it is and then I would just
00:44:52.280 go to this documentation and
00:44:55.760 see go here under overview or
00:45:00.680 under
00:45:02.200 yeah anywhere where I can find some code
00:45:05.640 in this case I was looking at campaigns
00:45:08.400 so I would just try to figure out okay
00:45:10.119 where could be where how where could I
00:45:12.520 or how could I give give jpd some
00:45:14.760 helpful information so it can um provide
00:45:17.520 me with the correct code so I would copy
00:45:19.400 this code and this code and I just paste
00:45:23.760 it back into chat gbt and to see hey do
00:45:26.359 you find this helpful can you use this
00:45:29.200 information to make the code work and
00:45:31.359 then this is how I got this then to work
00:45:34.480 and extract information properly but in
00:45:38.000 most cases jbt will provide me with the
00:45:40.359 correct code already in the first
00:45:43.000 place and then that’s how I can connect
00:45:46.319 any tool to
00:45:48.800 my
00:45:50.400 um Google
00:45:52.400 sheet now how do you make your it tool
00:45:54.520 sellable scalable and more available
00:45:57.599 even if you have created it in a Google
00:45:59.680 sheet like I have and not a proper
00:46:03.839 software
00:46:05.000 platform yeah the first thing you need
00:46:07.240 is um you need to make sure that clients
00:46:10.760 can set up this tool themselves so they
00:46:13.520 don’t need
00:46:14.720 your uh personal attention to set this
00:46:17.720 up for them the way I solve this with my
00:46:21.119 tool was that I added um here
00:46:28.400 the option set up and install and this
00:46:31.400 makes sure that it sets up like all the
00:46:34.440 back end the code correctly and in this
00:46:37.720 case it is the yeah what’s called the
00:46:41.079 triggers if I go in there let’s go to
00:46:44.280 the app script
00:46:48.079 here the way I give my a customer access
00:46:52.599 to my tool is I give them this link
00:46:58.280 then I click make a copy and then I get
00:47:00.319 a copy of this and
00:47:04.040 then when I make a
00:47:06.400 copy um everything is copied like the
00:47:08.960 whole function and even the app script
00:47:11.160 and so on is copied but the only thing
00:47:12.800 that isn’t copied is the the triggers so
00:47:17.400 the triggers but they are really
00:47:19.480 important
00:47:21.079 because
00:47:23.200 um in this case I have several triggers
00:47:26.319 set up and the way you see this is when
00:47:28.559 you go to triggers here then you see all
00:47:31.680 the triggers you’ve set up so these are
00:47:33.440 triggers okay when when this happens
00:47:36.040 when a specific field in my spreadsheet
00:47:37.760 is edited and it triggers this function
00:47:39.400 so I have some of them set up manually
00:47:40.960 or time base trigger when this runs
00:47:43.280 every time every day it checks for new
00:47:45.880 emails um automatically so what I do so
00:47:49.800 this needs to include in the setup so
00:47:51.520 need to install these triggers again
00:47:53.200 because these are not automatically
00:47:55.000 copied and I’ve prepared even a prompt
00:47:58.400 for you that you can use here also in
00:48:00.960 the sheet where you click
00:48:03.040 on I
00:48:06.520 have this here copy let’s Post in in a
00:48:11.000 new thing
00:48:13.640 so I will then here copy and
00:48:17.040 paste all these triggers just again copy
00:48:21.040 and paste select them all copy and paste
00:48:25.200 them here
00:48:27.760 then I will also
00:48:29.760 insert the code I already have in
00:48:34.440 this okay so for
00:48:37.920 example if I let’s use this one let’s go
00:48:44.760 to open I’ll just select this is the the
00:48:49.119 section of the menu I already have so
00:48:52.000 this
00:48:53.240 is here custom actions and then
00:48:59.520 I put this in
00:49:02.000 here and then it will create for me this
00:49:06.599 option where it says install and it will
00:49:10.280 provide me with all the code and I copy
00:49:12.319 and paste this into my app script which
00:49:15.079 in this case I’ve already done and then
00:49:16.960 it will add
00:49:18.799 this another menu and call install and
00:49:22.040 then will
00:49:23.520 people uh get my copy and then they
00:49:26.200 click install
00:49:27.319 then it installs all the triggers and
00:49:29.559 everything is set up properly so that it
00:49:31.240 then works and I’ve already done that so
00:49:34.359 that’s why it said canceled and the
00:49:35.960 second thing I did is I let people enter
00:49:40.119 the API key in a specific
00:49:43.040 field um and then it will automatically
00:49:47.119 in my
00:49:48.760 functions grab that API key so you saw
00:49:52.799 this in this in this case I had my API
00:49:56.400 key here directly in my app script
00:50:01.240 here and but I changed that so that I no
00:50:05.880 longer have to man replace the API key
00:50:07.839 of client so that it’s but it’s
00:50:09.880 automatically replaced by whatever
00:50:12.680 people put in here and again I just told
00:50:16.319 um chbt in um in my Google sheet in the
00:50:20.880 input sheet here in B number 19 I have a
00:50:24.520 field where my client should enter the
00:50:26.200 API key please tell me what I need to
00:50:29.000 change about my code um yeah to make
00:50:32.680 sure this works and then chpd gave me
00:50:35.480 the code I put this back in here so
00:50:37.480 basically what it
00:50:38.799 did it gives me
00:50:41.280 a maybe we can have a
00:50:43.720 look at this it basically gives me a
00:50:49.280 placeholder you can see
00:50:52.440 it get AP so it created a function get
00:50:55.960 API key key and then this gets the API
00:50:59.240 key from this specific thing so I didn’t
00:51:02.400 know how this works but I just told it
00:51:04.960 chbd and I copy and pasted it back and I
00:51:07.640 also told chbt please make sure that
00:51:11.559 they they are know errors in the API key
00:51:14.400 and when there are errors then this
00:51:15.960 field should turn red and when it’s when
00:51:18.359 there are no
00:51:21.040 errors then this field should turn green
00:51:23.760 and then I copy and pasted the code back
00:51:26.079 in so that people know um when they have
00:51:29.839 put in the proper proper API key so then
00:51:34.119 my whole tool actually
00:51:36.280 works so that’s how you set it
00:51:39.240 up and how you make it scalable because
00:51:42.240 then people can set it up themselves and
00:51:44.079 you can sell this tool to as many people
00:51:46.960 as
00:51:48.680 possible now how do you turn the tool
00:51:50.920 into stone app so that’s also one way to
00:51:53.799 make it more available once you’ve
00:51:55.599 proven
00:51:57.119 that it works with your Google sheet
00:51:59.280 right we have proven the core functions
00:52:01.839 or what I do I’m selling it and see if
00:52:05.240 people even want to buy this before I
00:52:07.200 invest any more time and then get
00:52:09.440 feedback from my first customers and
00:52:11.079 then improve my Google sheet application
00:52:14.760 to the next level and then um if people
00:52:18.520 still buy it and found it avable and I
00:52:21.599 got positive feedback then I can turn it
00:52:23.440 into a more sophisticated user interface
00:52:27.720 or software tool even and there are
00:52:29.559 three ways I found that you can do that
00:52:32.480 um going from a Google app a Google
00:52:35.559 sheet AI tool Google sheet based AI tool
00:52:38.680 to a
00:52:40.480 software the one thing is you can turn a
00:52:43.319 Google app script um into some sort of
00:52:45.520 web app so that’s basically you have the
00:52:47.839 interface of a website and I’ve I’ve
00:52:51.440 didn’t I’ve done this with one function
00:52:53.960 um of my I tool where I I could I asked
00:52:57.240 chat GPT give me
00:53:00.559 a
00:53:02.280 um a web app script I didn’t know that
00:53:06.079 this existed but I asked shpd and then
00:53:08.480 it gave me the code and so I can I could
00:53:10.920 turn my Google sheet right which I have
00:53:14.079 here into
00:53:16.079 a sort of website or interface and I
00:53:21.760 could build it out there so people get
00:53:23.880 access to a website link and then they
00:53:25.760 can use it on
00:53:27.079 some sort of a little bit more improved
00:53:29.920 user
00:53:32.359 interface
00:53:34.359 and the option number two is you can use
00:53:38.000 Google’s app
00:53:39.359 sheet so they have their own no code
00:53:42.920 platform that you can use for free where
00:53:45.680 you can create mobile or web
00:53:47.559 applications directly from Google sheet
00:53:50.000 without extensive coding now I haven’t
00:53:52.640 used that before but we’ll show you a
00:53:54.920 few examples so that’s like the step in
00:53:59.480 between
00:54:02.599 let’s see if we can have a look here
00:54:05.960 let’s sign
00:54:09.079 in it looks a little bit nicer than the
00:54:12.440 the first option in the web app so it
00:54:14.640 looks more like an app or software as
00:54:18.040 you will see and so you can build
00:54:21.119 something like this this is some sort of
00:54:23.400 dashboard and this is what
00:54:27.000 you you could
00:54:30.839 build with an app
00:54:34.119 script
00:54:39.680 and yeah the third option is um the next
00:54:43.720 development of that which is a no code
00:54:46.760 platform so but there you have to
00:54:49.119 rebuild your full
00:54:51.520 tool um again from scratch like the
00:54:54.119 basic function that you’ve validated now
00:54:57.119 um and turn it into a your full software
00:55:00.960 interface a typical software interface
00:55:03.160 there are um services like bubble or
00:55:06.440 Glide that allow you to do that even
00:55:09.520 with where you don’t have to write any
00:55:11.359 line of code but
00:55:14.000 still it requires you yeah it requires
00:55:18.079 some learning curve that’s why I haven’t
00:55:19.720 used this in the first place to build my
00:55:21.880 my application but I Ed Google Sheets
00:55:23.599 because I was familiar with it and I
00:55:24.880 knew I could build a work the I tool
00:55:27.000 really fast and here with tools like
00:55:30.079 this here where they even have templates
00:55:32.280 like you can buy a template of any II
00:55:35.039 tool application you could buy this and
00:55:37.599 then just modify it so you don’t have to
00:55:40.039 build an entire um tool from scratch and
00:55:45.400 even though they
00:55:48.520 say yeah it’s a no cut platform um I
00:55:51.839 think or you will probably need several
00:55:54.359 weeks or even a few months before can
00:55:56.640 build a proper software tool if you have
00:55:58.720 no prior knowledge because it’s still
00:56:00.920 quite technical to set a software up um
00:56:03.839 here but um in the end it can give you
00:56:07.359 like a yeah a real looking software
00:56:11.680 application that also where you have
00:56:15.000 like user accounts you can set limits of
00:56:17.400 how much API people can use people can
00:56:19.520 pay you per month and so on they can
00:56:21.839 create their own account so that’s um
00:56:26.799 um yeah that’s where I what I would use
00:56:30.160 if I had validated my Google sheet and
00:56:32.359 if all the next phases go well and I
00:56:37.000 people want it people buy it and
00:56:39.640 then this could be an option for
00:56:43.000 me now
00:56:45.960 um the final piece would be to look at
00:56:50.039 the how you can make your tool more
00:56:52.200 valuable so I would do this even before
00:56:54.400 I try to turn it into another software
00:56:56.559 tool so I would try to get my user
00:56:58.480 better results how can I generate them
00:57:00.280 even better emails that was also the
00:57:02.400 reason why I added this writing style
00:57:06.119 analysis because I knew when people
00:57:07.799 could generate emails uh based on their
00:57:10.440 writing style then this would be a
00:57:12.760 better result they would appreciate more
00:57:14.480 and find more available I can remove
00:57:16.520 steps for the user so they have to click
00:57:18.640 less buttons to get the result and I can
00:57:21.839 also save them even more time um
00:57:25.400 generating the that my tool does that’s
00:57:27.640 how I think about that now you don’t
00:57:29.520 even need to think about it
00:57:32.280 yourself you can just use a prompt like
00:57:34.760 this and let chat GPT or CLA tell you
00:57:39.319 how you should improve your tool I’ve
00:57:41.960 already prepared a prompt so here I will
00:57:44.839 list what my tool does and then tell it
00:57:46.880 give me three ideas now let’s go back
00:57:49.119 into our chat
00:57:50.400 GPT new
00:57:53.880 window so in this case I’ve used this um
00:57:57.400 activity tracker where we have
00:58:00.039 identified YouTube topics
00:58:04.720 now think we were
00:58:08.960 we was
00:58:11.200 mine let’s do it again I don’t
00:58:19.400 know let reload
00:58:23.190 [Music]
00:58:28.119 okay here we so now we tell me how I can
00:58:31.319 make my tool even better Advanced
00:58:33.920 keyword
00:58:35.720 analysis I can connect it to YouTube API
00:58:39.160 to get more information about Successful
00:58:41.839 video topic so I can connect it to
00:58:44.359 YouTube I will just do the same process
00:58:46.839 as I showed you with my email marketing
00:58:49.480 tool connected I tell tgpd I want to
00:58:52.400 connect my tool to to YouTube give me
00:58:54.599 the code give me the Google app script
00:58:55.880 for that
00:58:57.319 I
00:58:58.760 can um automate stuff and yeah now it it
00:59:05.760 takes a little bit now I can one click
00:59:07.400 topic generation so now it will give me
00:59:09.720 a list of things I could improve like
00:59:11.319 features I could add and those that make
00:59:13.559 sense I would add to a list of features
00:59:16.559 and this is way I where I could improve
00:59:18.839 my tool without needing to think very
00:59:21.880 hard and then I would just save this
00:59:28.640 to a document and then I will tell Cat
00:59:33.079 GPT or could even do this in the same in
00:59:36.319 the same chat here I could just tell CH
00:59:40.280 gbt provide
00:59:42.599 me with the Google app script for this
00:59:46.240 feature and then it will create a code
00:59:48.520 and then I copy and paste it back into
00:59:53.000 my tool and then that way where I can
00:59:56.480 add and improve I can add features and
00:59:58.559 improve my tool and make it better and
00:59:59.880 more available without needing to write
01:00:01.880 the code
01:00:03.119 myself a few final
01:00:06.640 tips um to avoid errors and build your
01:00:09.720 tool even faster that would have saved
01:00:11.480 me a lot of time in the beginning if you
01:00:12.760 knew that already build your it Brick by
01:00:15.200 Brick and not all at once this means for
01:00:18.200 my AI tool I listed out all the things
01:00:22.280 it should do um here and then instead of
01:00:26.200 telling chbt build me a tool that does
01:00:28.839 all this I said I told chgb build me a
01:00:32.880 tool that does just this or build me a
01:00:35.839 function it does this and then once I
01:00:38.359 got this to work I moved on to the next
01:00:41.319 piece so now I have one function and now
01:00:43.920 you can um yeah move to the next
01:00:47.599 function and add this to your tool and
01:00:49.960 once you have a working code for this
01:00:52.640 you move to next and so on
01:00:56.240 number two uh second tip build the core
01:00:58.839 function of the ey tool and then get
01:01:00.280 first feedback so this is how my first
01:01:02.559 prototype looked like of my M mimik ey
01:01:06.400 tool it was a very
01:01:08.599 basic Google sheet which has a few
01:01:11.039 columns that we here listed so this was
01:01:13.599 the core function of what it should do
01:01:15.640 it should just get emails that I put in
01:01:23.160 here and add them
01:01:26.359 to
01:01:27.400 a Google sheet so and in this case it
01:01:30.520 even it added them like on top of each
01:01:33.599 other and then I could still generate a
01:01:36.960 subject line and an email text but it
01:01:40.119 still
01:01:41.480 wasn’t adjusted to the writing style but
01:01:45.359 this was the core function and um this
01:01:47.920 is what I showed to Monica then and got
01:01:51.880 feedback and she told me how I could
01:01:53.279 improve it and also she said it has po
01:01:55.880 IAL so I could invest more time in it to
01:01:59.599 develop it further and that’s how it
01:02:02.319 finally became this tool I spent two
01:02:05.480 weeks to develop it and make it more
01:02:08.440 valuable to my
01:02:10.880 customers if tgbt or Cloud gets stuck or
01:02:13.520 slower try Opera browser or start a new
01:02:15.680 chat this was what happens if you
01:02:19.119 produce a lot of code for your tool but
01:02:22.000 sometimes um one chat gets
01:02:27.839 overloaded and then it just is really
01:02:30.839 annoying to keep generating code because
01:02:32.520 it’s very slow and it keeps getting
01:02:33.680 stuck you see how much code I have in
01:02:35.760 there and then I just open a new window
01:02:38.039 and start from there oh I already used
01:02:39.680 the OA browser which I found faster for
01:02:42.079 CH GPD then the
01:02:45.720 Chrome number four try to understand
01:02:48.240 roughly what the functions do or ask jpt
01:02:51.160 to explain the code to you this helps
01:02:54.000 you to at least get some rough idea what
01:02:57.079 your tool do does and what the functions
01:02:59.160 do so when an error happens you have a
01:03:03.960 better chance of telling chbt how it
01:03:07.079 should solve it or where it should solve
01:03:08.760 it I found this really important so
01:03:12.599 that’s why I always have
01:03:15.440 chbt um write me exactly what does this
01:03:19.520 function do what does this do what does
01:03:21.760 this do so even if I don’t understand
01:03:24.079 any of this code I still know this
01:03:26.119 function does this function sends the
01:03:28.359 slides as a PDF to the email
01:03:30.720 addresses and this function adds a
01:03:33.240 custom menu this function shows the
01:03:35.160 dialog box to enter email addresses so
01:03:37.799 this is really good um so that when you
01:03:41.640 have an error you know what function may
01:03:44.039 have costed it and then you can copy and
01:03:45.559 paste that function
01:03:47.079 interch and tell it to fix
01:03:50.640 it tip number five save the current
01:03:52.799 working version of your code before
01:03:54.119 adjusting or replacing it
01:03:56.920 um that’s what I use notion for where I
01:04:01.760 can set
01:04:06.400 up I can copy and paste the code so once
01:04:11.039 I
01:04:13.480 got my code to work so I have I have it
01:04:18.200 I have I’ve added another function that
01:04:20.039 now works I will then copy it copy the
01:04:23.400 code and then I could go to notion
01:04:30.410 [Music]
01:04:33.760 type
01:04:35.559 in code because I can directly save my
01:04:38.880 code Snippets normally I don’t know why
01:04:41.359 it doesn’t work but they can directly
01:04:43.520 save your code so you have
01:04:46.799 it
01:04:51.000 ready let’s look at the other ones so
01:04:54.440 here I can save it in there and then if
01:04:56.400 I need it again I can
01:04:58.119 copy it so that’s good so you don’t um
01:05:02.559 so so so working code doesn’t get lost
01:05:05.240 so when then you add another function it
01:05:07.039 could happen that somehow chbt makes
01:05:10.200 some mistakes and then the some
01:05:12.200 functions no longer work and then you
01:05:13.359 can always start again fresh and your
01:05:17.079 work is not lost that you did
01:05:20.520 before yeah these are everything I want
01:05:23.599 to share with you he also prepared
01:05:26.520 for from few resources for you that you
01:05:29.319 can access so you get the slides of
01:05:32.880 these presentation by going to this
01:05:36.440 website and you will also find all
01:05:41.119 the resources and prompts I shared with
01:05:44.079 you that allow you like to build
01:05:47.079 your AI tool without even to know how to
01:05:50.279 code and all the links you may need for
01:05:53.559 that and all the links I’ve shared you
01:05:55.359 can get get this um from this
01:05:57.720 website and you can also find me on
01:06:01.880 YouTube where I post some tutorials and
01:06:04.839 videos about similar
01:06:07.200 topics yeah that
01:06:10.920 was all for me so now if you have any
01:06:15.559 questions we can answer them okay Fabian
01:06:19.000 can you uh stop sharing your screen so
01:06:21.920 we don’t get that buffering anymore
01:06:24.039 there’s uh a few questions in the chat
01:06:26.279 so I want to address them first um well
01:06:29.640 not me you and then we’ll go to some uh
01:06:33.599 live questions okay so I’m going to go
01:06:36.640 to the very
01:06:39.400 top uh hang
01:06:44.319 on Fabian while Monica is doing that let
01:06:47.839 me just say art fliping
01:06:51.039 standing that was
01:06:53.200 awesome thank you I was completely
01:06:56.039 captivated for like the since you began
01:06:58.799 till when you pressed Q&A I’m so proud
01:07:01.839 of you well done thank you you have
01:07:04.400 absolutely nothing to worry about you
01:07:07.279 are a genius and people will love what
01:07:10.319 you have you just need to believe in
01:07:13.240 yourself I’m super proud of you well
01:07:15.520 done well well
01:07:20.559 done and Fabian is great at taking
01:07:23.760 compliments as we can all see
01:07:28.079 he doesn’t know what to say
01:07:32.039 Yes um okay anyway so I kind of answered
01:07:35.279 some of them but I want to make sure
01:07:36.839 that I’m answering them correctly so the
01:07:38.440 very first question was from Jennifer
01:07:39.920 and she said are the tabs automatically
01:07:42.279 created from the checkboxes on the input
01:07:46.279 tab uh that’s when you were running your
01:07:48.680 own software uh your on tool okay
01:07:53.079 yes uh
01:07:58.359 super cool super cool we got a lot of
01:08:00.359 super
01:08:01.559 cool mentions here
01:08:09.039 um sorry um I’m just trying to get to
01:08:12.359 the questions because I’ve got a lot of
01:08:14.599 you know how awesome you are uh okay so
01:08:18.880 can Google translat be included in an
01:08:22.198 automation like this like a text file
01:08:26.238 and convert it to
01:08:28.120 Spanish
01:08:30.120 yes okay is it uh pretty straight
01:08:33.479 forward to do a Google yes yes it’s like
01:08:37.359 any any form of Google um now Google
01:08:40.719 Translate is not a Google app but um um
01:08:44.479 it’s pretty easy to access yes okay what
01:08:48.560 about Google
01:08:49.880 analytics yes can also be directly yes
01:08:58.439 okay so Jennifer um is saying that she
01:09:01.839 has an HR form that she has to fill out
01:09:05.279 every year for her annual
01:09:07.640 review uh do you think that she can kind
01:09:10.839 of do some sort of a tool that will
01:09:13.359 allow her to fill out that form
01:09:17.560 easier um what is this an online form or
01:09:20.319 is it um some PDF form or
01:09:29.158 um every year I have to fill out it it’s
01:09:32.839 just a series of questions from the
01:09:35.600 human resources department about my work
01:09:37.839 throughout the year so um I had some
01:09:40.679 ideas but it’s like a whole year of data
01:09:43.040 and how granular like like how the
01:09:46.839 problem is like how granular do I get
01:09:49.279 with what I do and maybe rank it for
01:09:51.479 importance for a summary at the end of
01:09:53.399 the year or something like that
01:09:57.679 like it’s such a pain in the butt every
01:10:00.760 year is what the problem is so is this
01:10:04.360 like do you need to share what you do in
01:10:06.040 your in your job or how does this um
01:10:10.120 what is the information they
01:10:12.960 need uh what are my important
01:10:15.719 accomplishments did I meet my goals from
01:10:18.880 last
01:10:19.880 year
01:10:21.800 um what do I think of my boss’s work
01:10:27.350 [Music]
01:10:28.880 um what are the things I’ve mostly
01:10:32.320 accomplishments what problems I ran into
01:10:35.600 how did I handle
01:10:38.880 them so your your challenge is you don’t
01:10:42.800 know what you should write or um what’s
01:10:46.400 important to them or what’s the problem
01:10:49.960 yeah so the so it’s for
01:10:52.679 365 days of work um so it’s just it’s a
01:10:57.239 lot of data and how do I keep that data
01:11:01.440 and how small like I schedule meetings
01:11:03.600 every day so do I put like I scheduled
01:11:06.679 five meetings or that’s not really
01:11:08.360 important I mean I could count the
01:11:10.159 number of meetings I could be like I
01:11:12.239 scheduled 1,200 meetings this
01:11:15.120 year but I don’t think
01:11:19.320 that’s I I don’t know um so how would
01:11:22.719 you start yeah I would start by looking
01:11:25.800 at okay what is the form you’ve
01:11:27.040 submitted the last time and what
01:11:28.920 information did you put in
01:11:30.560 there and Ed that like as a model even
01:11:34.640 like for an AI model they could walk you
01:11:37.320 through
01:11:38.920 what what information is you need to put
01:11:42.639 there or did you want to change
01:11:43.840 something that you put in last year that
01:11:45.360 you don’t want to put in
01:11:49.080 anymore I guess the problem is they want
01:11:51.440 a summary of my work for the
01:11:53.880 year and like major accomplishments any
01:11:57.800 problems I ran into how I handled
01:11:59.719 problems let’s start with that so like
01:12:03.719 what what I don’t know what do you
01:12:07.280 record that some do you yeah do you
01:12:09.000 record that somewhere like things do you
01:12:11.400 have
01:12:12.159 any uh any records any documents where
01:12:15.000 you take notes of that I have a task
01:12:17.920 manager but it’s not
01:12:19.679 like I don’t know how helpful that’ll be
01:12:22.880 because
01:12:25.400 it’s like it would be hard to weed out
01:12:28.440 the importance the important things or
01:12:31.080 the major accomplishments
01:12:35.199 or yeah um I think um the first thing
01:12:38.920 would be to figure out if you can I
01:12:41.360 don’t know if you can find that but what
01:12:42.760 would be the ideal the ideal um input in
01:12:47.400 the form like do we have any case study
01:12:50.360 any anything where you know oh this is
01:12:52.560 how it should look like this is what
01:12:53.920 should go in there
01:12:55.760 and that it would be a model right as a
01:12:58.840 reference okay and then um yeah you need
01:13:04.000 to figure figure out um you don’t need
01:13:06.040 to decide you need yourself what is
01:13:08.320 important what is not maybe you in AI
01:13:11.719 can help you with that perhaps you just
01:13:14.040 need to figure out
01:13:16.080 um where do you get
01:13:19.560 the do you have any records of your work
01:13:22.679 like have you created anything do you
01:13:24.960 have any transcripts of meeting you had
01:13:27.920 um any feedback from uh customers or
01:13:31.560 from colleagues um that you’ve uh emails
01:13:34.960 you received projects you’ve completed
01:13:37.719 or even software you use where you have
01:13:40.400 some records that you completed stuff um
01:13:44.440 yeah that’s what I would gather first uh
01:13:47.080 first first gather all the information
01:13:49.199 you had all the everything you’ve done
01:13:52.040 in the last 365 days not like
01:13:56.920 um I I would probably start with the
01:13:59.280 biggest bigger projects because I don’t
01:14:01.280 have any experience filling out HR forms
01:14:04.040 so I don’t know what to put in there or
01:14:05.719 what that actually means um or what
01:14:08.440 matters to them or what the purpose of
01:14:10.639 it is is this to make
01:14:14.120 sure you you you complete your project
01:14:17.840 so what is the reason behind this it’s
01:14:20.800 they just need something on file that
01:14:22.800 I’m doing a good job every year and so
01:14:25.639 every year it’s the same thing like I
01:14:29.679 like yeah Laura I think something to say
01:14:33.239 about
01:14:34.400 that I so from what I’ve heard you say
01:14:37.440 it sounds like the formul completing is
01:14:39.719 something to do with the performance
01:14:41.120 appraisal at year
01:14:43.080 end my suggestion would be putting
01:14:46.040 something together like Fabian had for
01:14:48.040 his male mimic system so using a
01:14:50.600 spreadsheet and how you might get
01:14:52.520 started is to record a daily routine
01:14:56.040 so before you can end up with a yearend
01:14:58.880 summary you need to have what fabian’s
01:15:01.000 saying you need to record the data on a
01:15:02.800 day today now you can’t remember back to
01:15:05.239 January the 1st when you’re on December
01:15:07.679 the 31st so it might be worth
01:15:10.239 establishing a bit of a new routine so
01:15:12.320 maybe before you log out at the end of
01:15:14.239 every day just say I had three meetings
01:15:16.639 today um this was a problem I had this
01:15:19.560 was how I dealt with it this was um
01:15:23.679 today I had to ask my manager for this
01:15:25.520 feedback I felt she was unclear on her
01:15:27.719 communication and I got stuck here and
01:15:29.719 then what so you record basic Snippets
01:15:32.040 and then you get something like fabian’s
01:15:34.800 tool at the end of the year to gather
01:15:36.920 all of the things and put it into those
01:15:39.000 blocks basically so here’s how many
01:15:41.719 calls I had here’s how I feel I
01:15:44.120 performed here were some of the
01:15:45.800 challenges I faced here’s where I felt I
01:15:48.159 did really well and you could always say
01:15:50.840 if I wanted to rate myself or whatever
01:15:52.679 it is on each of those things one five5
01:15:55.040 s this and that you might have some kind
01:15:56.800 of a rating scale for them to say cool
01:16:00.000 the metric for the kpi was four and how
01:16:03.159 do you feel you did this year four and
01:16:05.560 then you have to substantiate that that
01:16:08.000 information you could use them for that
01:16:11.120 you could fill it out that way
01:16:14.600 perhaps all right thank you thank you
01:16:16.840 everyone I’ll I’ll keep working on
01:16:19.560 it okay so I have a question from Laura
01:16:22.199 she said can you put new code into the
01:16:24.960 the appscript editor anywhere or does
01:16:27.920 the code have to run
01:16:30.360 consequentially it doesn’t matter where
01:16:32.159 it
01:16:33.880 is you can put it anywhere yeah you just
01:16:37.440 need to make sure that um you don’t you
01:16:40.480 only have like um you don’t have the
01:16:43.600 same names for different functions so
01:16:46.560 every function should have a unique name
01:16:49.199 um but it doesn’t matter in where you
01:16:50.920 put it at the top or at the bottom it
01:16:52.800 doesn’t need to be in sequence
01:16:56.400 okay so yeah this was the last question
01:16:59.159 in the chat so if you guys have any
01:17:00.800 questions just raise your hand and uh
01:17:05.320 um like I don’t know I um I feel that
01:17:08.880 everybody’s mind is blown by you know
01:17:11.440 going I thought that Google is just
01:17:13.840 something that I sum up
01:17:17.560 stuff and then then it turns out that
01:17:20.440 you can do all this amazing amazing
01:17:22.840 stuff with it and create super powerful
01:17:25.760 tools because um as Fabian said he was
01:17:29.320 trying to do everything as cheap as
01:17:31.920 possible or
01:17:33.639 free which is incredible because now I
01:17:37.960 think that only the first time the very
01:17:39.719 first two you make will be kind of
01:17:42.159 complicated and hard and only because
01:17:44.760 you’ll be just fumbling around going how
01:17:46.880 do I do this how do I do that but once
01:17:48.600 you create your first tool and then you
01:17:51.520 start getting ideas like what Fabian
01:17:53.760 said like what is the problem I have and
01:17:55.800 how can I fix it with Google
01:17:58.000 Sheets you can actually start getting
01:18:00.639 like a whole library of tools that you
01:18:02.679 can
01:18:03.679 sell like for really good money even if
01:18:06.360 you don’t sell it for for a lot you can
01:18:09.159 make volume and that can be thousands
01:18:11.679 upon thousands of
01:18:13.239 dollars um every single month and Andy
01:18:16.320 maybe this is something you can think
01:18:17.840 for your Etsy store maybe you can start
01:18:20.040 selling some other stuff not just the
01:18:22.719 gpts yeah you yes this this stuff is
01:18:26.120 like blows your mind the potential
01:18:28.920 that’s genius it’s yes Bravo faan right
01:18:33.880 top top work honestly thank you and and
01:18:38.880 any of you guys that are sending emails
01:18:41.560 I would strongly suggest that you get
01:18:43.360 that
01:18:44.159 $50 um deal that Fabian is giving all of
01:18:49.159 us um I’m going to put the link in the
01:18:52.520 in the replay as well but um I think
01:18:55.120 that I’m I’m definitely going to get it
01:18:57.920 so cuz you guys know that everybody says
01:19:01.920 every girl says that you know your list
01:19:04.040 is where your money is and all that and
01:19:06.360 a lot of us um don’t talk to our list as
01:19:10.600 often as we should because a lot of the
01:19:12.920 times we don’t know what to sell u i
01:19:14.719 mean what to
01:19:16.080 send and it’s kind of like I have this
01:19:18.639 idea and I can only write two
01:19:20.639 sentences on it or I have no idea at all
01:19:24.000 but we over receive these awesome emails
01:19:26.360 from people that we
01:19:27.840 admire and we can make these emails into
01:19:30.920 our own so that 50 bucks will be so well
01:19:34.960 spent um and then you can you know you
01:19:37.639 can see how the whole tool works and
01:19:39.520 kind of mimic after
01:19:42.440 it um yes and and these emails like they
01:19:45.440 have already been tested by these goros
01:19:47.800 like uh and they only send out the
01:19:50.560 emails that they know they work so they
01:19:52.520 already have proven structures and
01:19:53.960 proven emails ideas that you can use
01:19:57.560 and rewrite in your own voice and then
01:20:00.560 see if it works for you there’s a higher
01:20:02.560 chance yeah yeah they also spend a lot
01:20:05.679 of money on uh copywriters like
01:20:07.639 expensive
01:20:10.080 copywriters I love the concept of a
01:20:12.280 Google sheet because it’s something most
01:20:15.520 people in the world can use it requires
01:20:17.760 very little learning from a client or
01:20:20.080 user perspective right whereas if you’re
01:20:22.600 trying to sell a GPT and it’s fancy and
01:20:25.600 it’s looks complicated but Google sheet
01:20:28.920 is like exactly like you said especially
01:20:31.639 if it comes to the install instructions
01:20:33.679 it’s ready go right it’s super easy so I
01:20:37.239 love that yeah and everybody has
01:20:41.840 Google so it’s not like oh you have to
01:20:44.400 pay $20 to open AI to have a GPT but
01:20:47.840 like everybody has Google everybody can
01:20:50.360 install
01:20:52.400 it even before you make it pretty and
01:20:55.120 into a tool so
01:21:00.080 yeah yeah um any other questions guys or
01:21:03.320 anything else that you want to
01:21:05.120 share faan have you ever strung together
01:21:09.280 a couple of your digital Tools in Google
01:21:12.320 Sheets using an
01:21:14.120 automation so one does this and then you
01:21:16.520 can do that and then it does this and
01:21:18.239 then have you done something like
01:21:22.719 that um not really fully automated I
01:21:26.080 mean I haven’t really had the use case
01:21:28.360 where I needed that now I mean I could
01:21:30.960 automate my tool where it like
01:21:32.920 automatically would generate new email
01:21:35.520 text from every email that come in so I
01:21:37.480 already have a list of ready to send
01:21:39.280 email texts and I don’t have to click on
01:21:43.159 um generating the text
01:21:46.560 and yeah that’s uh what I could do um so
01:21:51.159 you can do this yes you can set it up
01:21:53.679 that it automates things but I haven’t
01:21:55.840 really had a use case to implement this
01:21:57.800 so do you have anything in any idea how
01:22:00.480 you would do that or what the process
01:22:02.159 you would automate no I was just
01:22:04.639 wondering how you might get like how you
01:22:07.239 might get a couple of the tools to work
01:22:10.440 together I think what yeah what Laura
01:22:13.360 was saying like for example if you’re
01:22:15.360 using your email like can your email
01:22:18.840 tool trigger say you YouTube titles
01:22:23.520 tool
01:22:25.080 mhm is that possible I think that’s what
01:22:27.440 she was asking is it possible to use one
01:22:29.600 tool as a trigger to start another tool
01:22:32.040 without manually doing
01:22:35.560 it okay now now I haven’t I haven’t done
01:22:39.040 that there you go but I think
01:22:42.280 yeah
01:22:44.000 next good idea because I want to buy the
01:22:47.120 tool that way I just press start with
01:22:49.560 mail mimic and it ends up with a posted
01:22:52.560 video on YouTube channel
01:22:56.159 that whole thing yes you know what I
01:22:58.080 mean like the tools themselves okay but
01:23:00.840 I was just wondering if you have like
01:23:02.880 a I don’t know what else is involved in
01:23:05.480 email marketing or what else you might
01:23:07.120 put in there but it’s just a you
01:23:10.320 know can can you instead of doing every
01:23:13.320 like going in and using mail mimic and
01:23:15.000 then coming out and then going into this
01:23:16.679 and then using that can this tool
01:23:18.480 trigger that tool which gives you me the
01:23:20.679 next thing yeah yes yeah I think it’s
01:23:24.080 possible yeah to do that yeah that was
01:23:26.880 my like my next step to have this tool
01:23:29.639 that writes emails now can I use a
01:23:33.280 similar process for YouTube like we put
01:23:36.239 in just a link of a YouTube channel U it
01:23:39.000 gets all the top videos and it rewrites
01:23:41.520 them for my topic and my style like the
01:23:44.840 transcript and yeah that would also be
01:23:49.480 something I would probably create and
01:23:52.960 yeah awesome Master Class number two
01:23:56.679 maybe yes yeah also don’t forget that
01:23:59.840 these sheets they can be then plugged
01:24:02.520 into make automations to do other stuff
01:24:05.840 so every time a new uh row is populated
01:24:10.920 which they call record a new record is
01:24:12.920 created you can trigger a make um
01:24:16.320 automation that now can take these
01:24:19.520 emails and make them into social media
01:24:22.280 posts yeah I was going to say that M you
01:24:26.040 don’t need to use Google Sheets yeah
01:24:28.040 from every for everything but you can
01:24:30.679 this is the whole point of building
01:24:32.280 these massive automations is like you
01:24:34.480 can have something here and then you can
01:24:36.440 have something there and then something
01:24:38.239 there and everything connects with apis
01:24:41.119 uh because like uh if you want to create
01:24:44.040 social media you would probably want to
01:24:47.119 use
01:24:48.679 um uh uh like not just um the the
01:24:53.360 modules that will create create the copy
01:24:55.400 but you may want to create images as
01:24:57.159 well you know automatically and all that
01:24:59.239 so this is not really doable well in
01:25:02.360 Google Sheets from what I know about
01:25:04.080 Google Sheets but you move it into make
01:25:07.760 and then everything becomes possible and
01:25:10.960 then it drops it into um either a a
01:25:14.159 database which could be back into your
01:25:15.800 Google Sheets air table notion or
01:25:18.760 directly posts on your social
01:25:21.320 media yeah like you see this email mimic
01:25:24.480 tool is amazing because it’s already
01:25:26.000 doing the first piece for you it’s
01:25:27.560 grabbing the titles that have already
01:25:29.320 been researched that are going viral
01:25:31.480 that people are
01:25:33.119 opening it’s rewriting the the sentiment
01:25:39.080 of the email using your specific tone of
01:25:41.800 voice it would be great if you stuck an
01:25:44.960 automation on the end there that said uh
01:25:48.679 let’s say you’ve got some segmented
01:25:51.320 lists inside active campaign for
01:25:54.679 specific products that the automation
01:25:57.239 could then take those that email
01:25:59.679 sequence and fire it off to that segment
01:26:03.320 in your list for your new product launch
01:26:05.960 you know what I mean like that kind of
01:26:07.520 thing like you could set up your
01:26:09.719 new promo sequence or whatever it is
01:26:12.639 that you’re doing you know and then if
01:26:15.440 it got really fancy anybody who
01:26:18.239 replied it could automatically send them
01:26:20.719 the link to the landing page like sign
01:26:22.760 up here you know your automating your
01:26:25.000 own launching and launching and
01:26:28.040 promoting whatever that’s my
01:26:31.360 vibe the little is done requires work
01:26:34.719 but that’s sort of what I’m thinking in
01:26:36.320 my mind like with the email thing you
01:26:38.320 know what’s the next thing that can
01:26:39.880 happen from
01:26:41.680 [Music]
01:26:45.199 me yeah I think there’s so many
01:26:47.639 possibilities you just have to think of
01:26:50.080 them and then see if they work or
01:26:53.080 not yeah yeah and then just ask chbt if
01:26:56.199 it’s possible and it will tell
01:27:00.320 you I’m going to check if what I asked
01:27:03.719 was possible and I’m going to email you
01:27:05.880 the result message you the result and
01:27:07.480 say Fabian here’s my number two
01:27:12.719 okay ask chat gbt to be Fabian Marco and
01:27:16.280 then see what happens has a rooll maybe
01:27:24.600 um okay guys do we have any other
01:27:26.679 questions for
01:27:30.000 Fabian
01:27:31.760 cool all right so um as soon as um I can
01:27:37.119 trans not transcribe as soon as the zoom
01:27:40.400 um is ready I’ll just clean up the
01:27:43.480 beginning and then I’ll post the Replay
01:27:46.280 for you guys to watch and get all the
01:27:48.040 resources and everything and yeah
01:27:51.719 definitely don’t forget that this
01:27:55.639 tool he’s offering us for 50 bucks is
01:27:58.320 just
01:27:59.320 amazing and um yeah I think that we
01:28:03.159 should uh we should all get
01:28:08.360 it thanks Fabian thanks everybody y see
